Doctors
Dr Jacqueline Over
MB BCh Wales 1989 MRCGP DCH
Jackie became a partner in the practice in 1995. She trained at the University of Wales College of Medicine and completed her GP training in South Wales and Bermuda. Her interests are family planning, gynaecology, asthma and palliative care. Jackie works part-time and is available in the practice on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Jackie is a trainer, and looks after registrars.
Dr Julian Barber
MB BS MRCP MRCGP
Jules joined the practice in 2009. He qualified from University College London in 1998. He has spent time working as a GP in Hampshire and Devon, and several years working in hospital medicine in the West Country and New Zealand. His interests are kidney medicine, high blood pressure and diabetes. Jules is a trainer, and looks after registrars.
Dr Emma Bowen Simpkins
MB BCh Wales 1993 DRCOG DFFP MRCGP
Emma qualified in 1993 in Wales, and in addition to her hospital training has worked as a GP in Hong Kong. Her areas of special expertise are Family Planning, Gynaecology, Menopause, and Child & Family Mental Health. Emma is a trainer, and looks after registrars.
Dr Matthew de Quincey
BA MB ChB Cambridge 1989 DRCOG DCCH MRCGP
Matt joined the practice in 1997. He did the first half of his medicine at King’s, Cambridge, but escaped to graduate in History of Modern Philosophy and Ethics; then doing the second half (his clinical training) in Edinburgh, and qualified in 1989.He is interested in combining his rigorous old-style medical learning with his philosophical interests, in pluralism and narrative medicine, and what it is to be a generalist in medicine. Matt is also an educational supervisor for F2 doctors.
Dr Alexander Goodman
MBBS BSc (Hons) MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH
Alexander joined the Practice in August 2017. He graduated from Kings College London School of Medicine in 2008. He worked for a number of years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before commencing GP training in Hampshire. Alexander’s interests include women’s health and mental health. Alexander is an GP trainer, and looks after registrars. His working days are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Dr Goodman is also the Caldicott Guardian for Chawton Park Surgery.
Dr Pippa Sealy
Dr Sealy joined the Practice in June 2020. Dr Sealy is a retainer GP and will work Monday and Tuesdays.
Dr Hannah O'Riordan
Dr O'Riordan joined the Practice in January 2021 as a salaried GP. Hannah works all day Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dr Nico Rosser
Dr Nico Rosser joined the Practice on Monday 14th March 2022. Dr Rosser will work all day Monday, Tuesday morning, all day Wednesday and Thursday morning

GP Registrars
Dr John Krentz
(ST3) joined the team in August 2021 and will be with us until July 2022. Dr Krentz is under the supervision of Dr Jackie Over.
Dr Chris Wilcox
(ST3) joined the team in August 2021 and will be with us until July 2023 and is under the supervision of Dr Alexander Goodman.
Dr Tom Parrott
Dr Parrott is an ST3 under the supervision of Dr Emma Bowen-Simpkins. Dr Parrott joined us in November 2021 and will be with us for 24 months
Dr Tom Rees
Dr Rees is an ST2 under the supervision of Dr Julian Barber. Dr Rees joined us in April 2022 and will be with us for 6 months
Dr Oscar Hardy
Dr Hardy is an F2 under the supervision of Dr Matt de Quincey. Dr Sandberg joined us in April 2022 and will be with us for 4 months
Sahar Kazmi
ST3) joined the team in April 2022 and will be with us until April 2024 and is under the supervision of Dr Emma Bowen-Simpkins
Nurses
Lina Porter
Lina leads our practice nurses team. Along with day to day nursing clinics, Lina reviews patients for asthma reviews, completes smear tests and administers baby immunisations.
Joanne Dash
Joanne is a member of our nursing team and is a lead research nurse.
Jane Brown
SRN
Jane looks after the hypertension and baby immunisation clinics, and also has a special interest in the asthma clinic, coronary obstructive pulmonary disease and research. Jane also has a minor aliments clinic which runs daily, Jane is also able to prescribe.
Sarah Marks
SRN
Sarah's particular interest is in the management of our travel vaccine advice, baby immunisations, chronic kidney disease and minor aliments. Sarah is also research trained.
Caroline Appleby
Along with day to day nursing clinics Caroline also manages the care of our diabetic patients.
Sharon Knight
Sharon is our Pro-Active Care Nurse. Sharon comes with an acute care background as a coronary care sister and with management experience in general, cardio and endocrine medicine. Sharon has also been a sister at Alton Community Hospital as well as a senior matron and clinical lead in community services. She spent two years as a clinical quality manager at North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG. She works full time across the PCN seeing patients in practice and on home visits.

Angela can perform blood tests, blood pressures, ECGs, 24 hour BP monitoring, phlebotomy, dressings, flu vaccinations and assist with minor ops. Angela is also research trained.

Lisa can perform blood tests, blood pressures, ECGs, dressings, 24 hour BP monitoring, flu vaccinations, B12 Vitamin injections, pneumococcal vaccinations, phlebotomy, spirometries and assists with minor ops. Lisa is also research trained.
